Technical Support Engineer / Trainer

Job Title:Technical Support Engineer / Trainer.

Location:Houston, TX

Job Description:

• Providing technical support for industrial battery systems, including CAN Bus, PLC, and A/C & D/C control environments.

• Developing technical documents, including service bulletins and training materials.

• Managing CRM database entries for support issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Expertise: Maintain deep product knowledge and provide first-line technical support.

• Problem-Solving: Own root cause analysis and propose design improvements.

• Documentation: Publish service bulletins, training materials, and manuals.

• Training & Education: Deliver structured training to dealers and internal teams, offering 2 classes per month on average.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s Degree in Electronics or 5+ years in a CAN Bus/PLC-related environment.

• Strong electronics and electrical theory knowledge.

• Experience with Lithium-Ion battery BMS/BMU technology is a plus.

Additional Requirements

• Excellent verbal communication and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in creating clear, concise technical documents.

• Ability to train both technical and non-technical audiences effectively.

• Familiarity with CRM software for tracking support cases.
